On October 1, 2015, Leonard Segal Presented The Top Ten Employment Law Issues for Nonprofits

On October 1, 2015, Lenny Segal presented the Top Ten Employment Law Issues for Nonprofits at the 2015 Minnesota Council of Nonprofits Annual Conference, which was held at the St. Paul RiverCentre. During his session, Lenny addressed some of the top employment law mistakes that nonprofit organizations can easily avoid.  Among the topics Lenny addressed were employee leave rights under the Family and Medical Leave Act and Minnesota law, accommodating employees with disabilities, properly classifying individuals under federal and state wage and hour laws, unique requirements for releasing employment law claims, and the proper use of non-competition agreements. The audience was absolutely terrific!  Attendees asked a lot of questions and had a ton of energy.  Thank you to everyone who attended!
