On November 7, 2014, Lenny Segal presented The Top 10 Employment Law Issues for Non-Profits at the 2014 Minnesota Council of Nonprofits Annual Conference. During his session, Lenny discussed ten employment law matters that non-profit organizations need to understand and handle properly.  Among the topics Lenny addressed were employee leave rights under the Family and Medical Leave Act and Minnesota law, accommodating employees with disabilities, properly classifying individuals under federal and state wage and hour laws, and the National Labor Relations Act’s application to social media policies.  For further information about this year’s conference, please click here.
