Leonard Segal Presented Two Sessions at the 2013 Upper Midwest Employment Law Institute

Leonard Segal presented two sessions at the 2013 Upper Midwest Employment Law Institute, co-sponsored by Minnesota CLE, the Minnesota State Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section, and the Twin Cities Human Resource Association.  Lenny’s first session, entitled “Workplace Harassment Basics – Sex, Racial, Bullying and More,” addressed what constitutes unlawful harassment and provided practical tips on how to prevent and respond to unlawful harassment.  In Lenny’s second session, “New State Court Rules of Civil Procedure – Significant Changes Effective July 1,” Lenny and his co-presenter walked attendees through the numerous changes to the Minnesota Rules of Civil Procedure and the General Rules of Practice for the District Courts that took effect on July 1, 2013.  This session was designed for lawyers who litigate in Minnesota state courts.

This year’s Upper Midwest Employment Law Institute took place on May 20 & 21, 2013, at the St. Paul RiverCentre.  For further information about the program, please click this link: 2013 Upper Midwest Employment Law Institute
